The SureFire DS00 Scout Light Rear Cap is a waterproof dual switch assembly designed as a direct replacement or upgrade rear cap for most SureFire Scout Light WeaponLights. Combining an integrated click-on/off pushbutton switch with a remote switch receptacle that accepts SureFire tape switches independently, the DS00 provides switch redundancy and full remote switch capability in a two-piece O-ring sealed housing that swivels for precise switch positioning on any Scout Light body — making it the standard upgrade rear cap for Scout Light users who run or intend to run a remote pressure switch setup.

Note: The DS00 is not compatible with the SureFire Micro Scout Light Pro. Remote tape switches (ST07, SR07, SR07-D-IT) are sold separately. The DS00 rear cap only is included — no tape switch is included in this listing.

Independent Pushbutton and Remote Switch Operation — Dual Redundancy
The SureFire DS00 features an integrated click-on/off pushbutton switch and a remote switch receptacle that operate completely independently of each other. This independence provides true switch redundancy — if the remote tape switch is damaged or unavailable, the integrated pushbutton activates the light normally, and vice versa. This is a critical feature for duty and professional use where switch failure cannot be an option. The pushbutton provides momentary and constant-on activation directly at the rear of the Scout Light body.

Remote Switch Receptacle — Compatible with SureFire ST07, SR07, SR07-D-IT and Unity Tactical Modbutton Lite
The DS00 switch receptacle accepts the full range of SureFire remote tape switches including the ST07, SR07, and SR07-D-IT (all sold separately), allowing the Scout Light to be activated remotely from a pressure switch mounted on the forend, handguard, or grip for consistent activation without removing the shooting hand from fire control. The DS00 is also compatible with the Unity Tactical Modbutton Lite remote switch for shooters who prefer Unity’s activation solution.

System Disable Feature — Prevents Accidental Activation
The SureFire DS00 includes a system disable feature that locks out both the integrated pushbutton and the remote switch receptacle to prevent accidental activation during storage, transport, and administrative handling — preserving battery life and preventing unintended light activation when the weapon is cased or slung.

Two-Piece Swivelling O-Ring Sealed Housing — Precise Switch Positioning
The DS00’s two-piece housing swivels to allow precise positioning of the integrated click-on/off pushbutton within the housing, enabling the shooter to orient the switch to the most ergonomic position for their specific grip and weapon setup. The housing is sealed with O-rings for waterproof performance consistent with Scout Light WeaponLight standards.
