Holosun AEMS Pro X2 Green Dot | Buy Enclosed Emitter Rifle Red Dot South Africa | Multi-Reticle | Solar Failsafe | 50% Reduced Parallax | IPX8

The Holosun AEMS Pro X2 Green Dot (AEMS-PRO-X2-GR) is the premium, fully-featured member of the AEMS enclosed emitter rifle optic family — building on the proven AEMS platform with a green Multi-Reticle System, Solar Failsafe, an Anti-Reflective Device, flip-down lens covers, and IPX8 waterproofing. The Holosun AEMS Pro X2 Green pairs the new X2-generation optical system that reduces parallax by 50% with a selectable green reticle (2 MOA dot, 65 MOA circle, or combined circle-dot), a forward-facing auto-brightness sensor, Shake Awake, 12 brightness settings, a 7075-T6 aluminium housing, and up to 50,000 hours of battery life. The green LED offers superior contrast for many shooters against natural and mixed backgrounds. For South African shooters who want the most capable enclosed emitter rifle optic Holosun makes, with the versatility of a multi-reticle system and the reliability of solar backup, the Holosun AEMS Pro X2 Green Dot is the correct choice.

Why South African Shooters Choose the Holosun AEMS Pro X2 Green Dot

Green Multi-Reticle System | 2 MOA Dot, 65 MOA Circle, or Combined Circle-Dot
The defining feature of the Holosun AEMS Pro X2 Green over the single-reticle Core X2 is the Multi-Reticle System (MRS). The shooter can select a precise 2 MOA dot for accurate shot placement at distance, a fast 65 MOA circle for rapid close-range acquisition, or the combined 65 MOA circle with 2 MOA dot for both speed and precision in a single sight picture. The large circle guides the eye to the centre dot instantly during fast target acquisition, while the dot provides the precision for accurate hits. All three configurations are selectable without re-zeroing. The green reticle colour provides excellent contrast and is preferred by many shooters, particularly those who find green easier to see than red against certain backgrounds.

50% Reduced Parallax | The X2 Optical System
The Holosun AEMS Pro X2 Green features the redesigned X2 optical system that reduces parallax by up to 50% compared to the original AEMS, maintaining the wide field of view the AEMS series is known for. Reduced parallax keeps the point of impact consistent even when the shooter’s eye is not perfectly centred behind the optic, a genuine accuracy advantage when shooting from awkward or unconventional positions.

Solar Failsafe | Continuous Operation Even in Battery Failure
Unlike the Core X2, the Holosun AEMS Pro X2 Green includes Holosun’s Solar Failsafe technology — an integrated solar panel that powers the optic using ambient light and provides continuous operation even if the battery fails or is depleted. Combined with the 50,000 hour CR2032 battery life and Shake Awake, Solar Failsafe means the AEMS Pro X2 is engineered to never leave the shooter with a dark optic.

Enclosed Emitter | Anti-Reflective Device | Flip-Down Lens Covers | IPX8
The Holosun AEMS Pro X2 Green uses a fully enclosed emitter that seals the LED from mud, rain, and debris so the dot never goes dark at the wrong moment. The integrated Anti-Reflective Device (ARD) reduces glare and reflections off the front lens while adding a layer of lens protection, and the included flip-down lens covers protect the glass during transport and storage. IPX8 waterproofing exceeds the Core X2’s IP67 rating, rated for the most demanding wet-weather and immersion conditions.

Forward-Facing Auto-Brightness Sensor | Shake Awake | 12 Brightness Settings
The Holosun AEMS Pro X2 Green features a forward-facing light sensor that automatically adjusts reticle brightness to match ambient lighting at the target, Shake Awake motion activation that powers the optic on instantly when movement is detected, and 12 brightness settings (8 daylight and 4 night vision compatible) with last setting recall.

7075-T6 Aluminium | Four-Post Lower 1/3 Co-Witness Mount | AEMS Mount Compatible
The Holosun AEMS Pro X2 Green is built on a 7075-T6 hard-anodised aluminium housing and includes a four-post lower 1/3 co-witness Picatinny mount at 1.63″ dot height, aligning correctly with standard AR-15 iron sights. The mount is backward compatible with all original Holosun AEMS mounts. Side-loading CR2032 battery tray allows replacement without removing the optic. 0.5 MOA per click adjustment, +/-50 MOA range.
